Watching "Ace of Cakes" is an enticing, yet difficult, activity. The artistry, precision, creativity — and lest we forget, the drama! — of the show keeps us sitting and watching until a Rachael Ray promo comes on the screen. The downfall of watching "Ace of Cakes" is that once it's over, it seems like your cupboards don't quite have the right ingredients for that Avatar-themed cake you were brainstorming during the telecast. Luckily for West Michigan, the cake doesn't go away with the show this month. The Hospice of Michigan is bringing in cakemaster, Duff Goldman, to create a unique cake for its 30th anniversary event. Not only will attendees be able to sample the cake, but there will also be a speaking engagement from Goldman. Tickets range from $25-$150 and will go toward the Hospice.
