We'll forget about that Christmas album Billy Idol put out in 2006 and go on the record to say the 54-year-old rocks. For a while, it was unsure if we would ever hear Idol's "Rebel Yell" ever again. In the early ‘90s, the rocker fell into obscurity for 12 years — except for the delightful cameo he made in 1998's The Wedding Singer — following two drug overdoses. As the requirement in the celebrity universe goes, Idol had to be shipped off to rehab. He took those 12 years to get sober, and even mocked himself and his addictions in said cameo. In 2005, he released the impressively catchy Devil's Playground. Cheesy at times, however, the record proved Idol still had what it took to rock a crowd, and make women and men alike swoon over his abs. Though he hasn't put out a new album since Devil's Playground, Idol is still riding high on past hits such as "Mony Mony," "Dancing With Myself," and the oft-misunderstood "White Wedding."
