| The irish guards were formed on the expressed wish of HM Queen Victoria in 1900 to commemorate the bravery of the many Irish Regiments who had fought in the South African campaigns. the regimental band was formed shortly after. The band has gained worldwide renown and will perform at the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center at the start of its first U.S. tour. Audiences will be wowed by the talent and pageantry of this royal and historic band. |
