It's not that we're anti-valentines day... Join us all day for special beer and food pairings (for one) and a chance to avoid all that sappy, lovey, Hallmark kissy-ness.
On a positive note, "there is hope amidst heartache," states the local organization, Until Love is Equal. A percentage of our Valentine's Day proceeds will be donated to the Michigan based anti-discrimination group. http://untilloveisequal.com/
Break up movies will be projected beginning at 7 p.m.:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind followed by 500 Days of Summer
We'll have a fun list of heartbreak/breakup songs... as well as some upbeat ones so we don't all pull an Elliott Smith and commit mass suicide.
Oh, and couples are more than welcome (just try not to be too couple-ish) |
