GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., October 1, 2009 - Niche publisher REVUE Holding Company, Inc. announced today that it has expanded with the launch of REVUE Mid Michigan, a free entertainment monthly distributed in Greater Lansing, Mt. Pleasant, Jackson and western Livingston County. The magazine and its companion website (www.revuemm.com) will feature interviews with performers, reviews, humor and comprehensive listings of things to do throughout Mid Michigan.

The first edition is being distributed today to more than 350 bars, restaurants, coffee shops and other retail and professional business establishments in the region.

The debut edition of REVUE Mid Michigan features interviews with local theater groups, River North Chicago Dance Company's Frank Chaves, comedian J. Chris Newberg, plus interviews with indie rock bands Cheap Girls, Paradisiac, Empire!Empire! and Elliot Street Lunatic. All of the featured artists appear in the Mid-Michigan region during the month of October.

The 28-page edition also features a lengthy story on Lansing's revitalized Old Town neighborhood, a feature on the $18.5 renovation of the Wharton Center in East Lansing, listings of nearly 1,000 events taking place around the region, and the magazine's "Best Bets" for fans of jazz, blues, pop, R&B and folk.

"Print media is alive and well in Michigan," said Brian Edwards, president of REVUE.  "People still like the look and feel of a well-designed publication, but they also want it coupled with an easy-to-use Web presence and social networking sites.  We're doing both with REVUE Mid Michigan, which builds on the success of our flagship publication, REVUE West Michigan.  Since acquiring REVUE last year, ad pages have more than doubled, and we've seen exponential growth in both ad revenues and traffic to our Web, blog, and social networking sites.  We look forward to replicating our formula for readers and marketing partners in the Mid Michigan market."

REVUE Holding Company is a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based publisher of niche magazines and Web content.   Formed in 2008 to capitalize on the changing dynamics of the print media business, the Company publishes two monthly entertainment guides and a variety of websites that reach more than 100,000 readers in many of Michigan's largest cities, including Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Lansing, Muskegon, Holland, Grand Haven, Lansing, East Lansing, Mt.
