Hot Tub Time Machine
When four friends find their lives stuck in a rut, they plan a get-away trip to the ski resort where they used to live it up. After an evening of intense drinking and soaking in the hot tub, Adam (John Cusack), Lou (Rob Corddry), Nick (Craig Robinson), and Jacob (Clark Duke) hope their painful lives of lost love, video-game addictions and living in the past can be erased just for one night. But in a turn of events they get more than they ask for, finding themselves waking up in the ‘80s. Each man is determined not to repeat their same mistakes in hopes of creating the lives they have always wanted.

Brothers
Danish army officer Sam (Tobey Maguire) is presumed dead when his helicopter crashes deep in Afghanistan during a peacekeeping mission. Back at home, his brother Tommy (Jake Gyllenhaal) grows close to Sam's family, especially to his wife Grace (Natalie Portman). When Sam returns home after rescue from captivity, things are not what they were when he left, and the good news of his survival quickly puts brothers at odds.

Directed by Clint Eastwood and based on the John Carlin book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game that Changed a Nation.
The Lovely Bones
In Peter Jackson's adaptation of the same-name novel by Alice Sebold, a 14-year-old girl (Saoirse Ronan) is raped and murdered by her neighbor (Stanley Tucci). She then watches from a heaven-like place, "the in-between," as her family grieves and her murderer prepares to strike again. She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to recover from their loss.

In James Cameron's 3D sci-fi epic, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) is an ex-Marine who was paralyzed from the waist down in combat on Earth. Now, he's headed to a lush, jungle-covered moon called Pandora, home to a variety of incredible life forms. Because of his paralysis, Sully is selected to participate in the Avatar program, which will enable him to walk again, as a member of Pandora's native humanoid race, the Na'vi. Their civilization is primitive compared to what humans have on Earth, but when humans encroach too deep into their unspoiled forests for valuable minerals, they use their 10-foot stature, superior physical abilities and warrior skills to defend their threatened existence. Sully, as one of the Na'vi, is torn between Earth's military-industrial efforts and the love he has found with a young Na'vi called Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña).

Robert Downey Jr. stars as the famous sleuth in director Guy Ritchie's dynamic portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle's classic characters. Alongside his trusted colleague, John Watson (Jude Law), Holmes must stop a plot by the murderous cult leader Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong) to destroy England.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
The immortal, thousand-year-old Doctor Parnassus (Christopher Plummer) is the leader a traveling theatre troupe, the pinnacle of which is a magical mirror through which audience members may explore their own imaginations. But, this mirror and his immortality came at a price: Doctor Parnassus made a deal with the Devil (Tom Waits), who now comes to collect the arrangement, targeting the doctor's young daughter (Lily Cole). The late Heath Ledger filmed the first part of the movie as Tony, a mysterious outsider who navigates surreal landscapes in attempt to save the doctor's daughter. Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law portray transformations of his character, filmed after the young actor's death in 2008.
Up in the Air
For Ryan Bingham (George Clooney), moving is living. With almost 10 million frequent-flyer miles to his name, this corporate downsizing expert ("career transition counselor") lives life on the move, numbing himself with sex, booze and drugs, completely at home on the road. But just when he's met Natalie (Anna Kendrick), the frequent-flying woman of his dreams, his company decides to ground him at headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. An all-star cast also includes George Clooney, Jeff Bridges, and Kevin Spacey.
The Fourth Kind
In 1972, ufologist J. Allen Hynek established a classification system to describe alien encounters. The fourth kind is the rarest-alien abduction. This first major film from writer-director Olatunde Osunsanmi, which claims to be based on actual events, investigates a disproportionately high number of reported alien abductions in Nome, Alaska, over the last 40 years. Milla Jovovich stars as psychotherapist Dr. Abigail Tyler.

The greedy farmers band together to end Mr. Fox once and for all.
Planet 51
In this animated adventure from Madrid-based Ilion Animation Studios, human astronaut Captain Chuck Baker (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) lands on Planet 51, thinking he's the first to set foot on its sunny surface. However, he soon discovers that green people inhabit the planet in a white-picket-fence society reminiscent of the 1950's U.S.
The Blind Side
Based on Michael Lewis' 2006 book The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game, this film follows Baltimore Ravens' offensive lineman Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) from his impoverished upbringing, through his days at Briarcrest Christian School, his adoption by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy (Tim McGraw and Sandra Bullock, respectively), and on to his days as a highly coveted college football star.

Adapted from the young-adult novel Derby Girl by author Shauna Cross and directed by Drew Barrymore, Whip It is the story of misfit girl, Bliss (Ellen Page of Juno fame) who leaves the world of beauty pageants to join a roller derby and escape her small-town misery. Most of the film was shot in and around Ann Arbor.
Zombieland
The U.S. has been ravaged by a zombie plague, and four intrepid survivors must cross the country from coast to coast, led by bad-boy zombie slayer, Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) on his quest for the very last Twinkie. As they battle the undead—more erratic and dangerous than the traditional, lumbering zombie—they must decide which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.

A Serious Man
Joel and Ethan Cohen present this black comedy set in the 1967 Midwest, where Professor Larry Gopnik (Michael Stuhlbarg) watches his life unravel. His wife (Sari Lennick) prepares to leave him for a colleague, his inept brother (Richard Kind) takes up permanent residence on his couch, a student attempts to bribe and later threatens to sue him, and his children steal money from his wallet.

Law Abiding Citizen
Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) takes matters into his own hands when one of the criminals who killed his wife and daughter gets cooperation from the district attorney’s office. Successful, but corrupt, assistant D.A. Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx) finds himself at the center of Shelton’s deadly plot for vigilante justice. From F. Gary Gray, director of The Italian Job.

Where the Wild Things Are
Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s story comes to life in this Spike Jonze adaptation. When Max (Max Records) is sent to bed without supper, he dons his wolf suit, creates an ocean, and sails to the land of the Wild Things, where seven imaginary monsters crown him as their ruler. Development for film began in the early ‘90s, but filming didn’t start until 2006.

Hilary Swank stars as Amelia Earhart, the famous pilot who disappeared in 1937 during an attempt to fly around the globe. The film follows her preceding rise to fame and rocky relationship with husband George Putnam (Richard Gere), who organized her sponsorship and promoted her famous flights.

Gentlemen Broncos
Benjamin Purvis (Michael Angarano) is a homeschooled teen who aspires to escape into his own fantasy writing. His dreams are nearly dashed, however, when acclaimed novelist Ronald Chevalier (Jemaine Clement of Flight of the Conchords fame) rips off Benjamin’s best idea yet at a fantasy convention.

Youth in Revolt
Determined to lose his virginity after his parents’ breakup, Nick Twisp (Michael Cera) meets the girl of his dreams, intellectual Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday), while on vacation in a trailer park.
