This upscale restaurant located downtown Rockford will host a private, five-course Valentine's Wine Dinner February 11 at 7 p.m. Each course will be presented Red's Executive Chef Glenn Forgie and accompanied by a perfectly paired wine. 25 Kitchen + Bar - The 25 experience is casually comfortable with a high energy twist. Executive Chef Steve Brechting has prepared a special three option menu with beverage paring this Valentines Day. Join them Saturday or Sunday evening for a fun yet romantic dinning experience. Their open-interactive kitchen and live entertainment, with Eric Allen on acoustic guitar, will sure to make for an unforgettable evening. Reservations available.
Bar Divani - Relax and enjoy a mouth watering three course prix fixe menu at Bar Divani this Valentines Day. This special event is only $39 per person, and it comes with desert! Only offered Feb 13 & 14, seating will be at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Reservations are required for both evenings.
Dugan's Pub & Grill - Looking for something different this Valentines Day? Celebrate this day of Love during brunch at The Highlands Golf Club on Leonard NW. They will be serving brunch 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Menu is both Adult and Children friendly. Cost is $14.95 for adults, $7.95 for kids 5-12 and 99 cents children under 5. Reservations are recommended.

Love, Fashion - To help get you and your loved ones get in the Valentines day mood, GRCC is presenting their free love-inspired fashion show on Feb 11. Wardrobe styling, décor, and model selection was all done by GRCC students and will spotlight hot spring trends while boosting awareness about the Salvation Army's charitable efforts. The show is at the Salvation Army on South Division, and every $10 spent there you will be entered to win a $50 prize from the store.
The Red Party - Looking for a fun party with drink specials, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and live music? The Red Party is just what you need; keep off this Valentines weekend with an exclusive event atop the Amway Grand at Cygnus 27. Hosted by Valentine Vodka, the party will feature live music by local Soundscape Designer Todd Ernst. Party gets underway at 7 p.m. February 11. No cover charge for 21+.

Death by Chocolate - Death by Chocolate is a comedy by Paul Freed which couldn't have come at a better time. This unique show combines all the elements of classic murder mysteries with scathing satire of today's health crazes. The premise: members of a newly-renovated health resort are dropping like flies right before the big grand re-opening. It's up to the manager and an amateur sleuth to interview the outlandish suspects and put together the clues in a wacky race against time. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for students; show runs Thursdays-Sundays, February 11-27.
Pagliacci - Celebrate Valentines Day with the mad clown "Pagliacci", Feb 12 and 13 at the DeVos Performance Hall. Pagliacci is a short but famous opera fill with amazing music. With themes of jealousy, betrayal and rage, this isn't your typical Valentine love story. Break out of the ordinary and see this one of a kind show. Big Bands n' Romance Gala - Anyone searching for an evening filled with elegant ambiance, fabulous fare, and electrifying entertainment needs to look no further, The Amway Grand's Ambassador Ballroom, is hosting an evening of Big Band Favorites, dinner and dancing. The Amway's special Valentine's package also includes a reception, dinner, dessert and overnight accommodations at the hotel, starting at $199 per couple. Little Black Dress - In a celebration of love, The JW Marriott presents Little Black Dress Feb 13. Monte's Valentine's Day Speed Dating - Back for its third year in a row, Monte's Valentines Day Speed Dating Event is a great way to meet new people, be silly, and enjoy pink drinks. Here's how it works: all of the girls will be seated on one side of the tables, and all of the guys will be on the other side paired up with a lady. Dates will last for one minute or so at which time a whistle will be blown, and all of the guys will move one girl to their right, thus starting a new date. Participation is free, but pre-registration is requested. The fun starts at 8 p.m, Feb 13.
Glendevon Dinner Concert Series - Bring your Valentine to a special evening of gourmet food, music and dancing at Glendevon Banquet and Meeting Center. Soul'd Out, a seven-piece band that plays a mixture of R&B, classic rock and soul & funk, will provide the entertainment throughout the evening. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m, Feb 13, and costs $38 per person, or $75 per couple.
Musique de l'amour - The St. Cecilia Music Center is hosting a Valentines Day celebration Feb 14 starting at 6 p.m. The celebration will consist of an elegant three course meal, along with dessert and will feature love songs by Edith Piaf performed by Grand Award nominee Martha Cudlipp. Tickets are $75 per person.
Valentine's Day at Louie's Bar - This Valentines Day put on your party face and head on over to Louie's Bar. Beginning at 8 p.m Louie's will have Jager girls, $2 Cupid Bazooka shots, $2 Calls and $4 Jager bombs. DJames will be rocking out on the decks and the dance floor.
K-Wings' Pink Ice Game - The K-Wings take on Toledo at 4 p.m. Feb. 14 at Wings Stadium. A local couple will tie the knot during the game and there's open skating afterwards ($5). Tickets for the game range from $8-16. Laugh Lovers Ball - It's an evening of sophisticated silliness at Kalamazoo State Theater (Feb. 13) and DeVos Place (Feb. 14.) This hysterical event is a fun alternative to the typical routine date on Valentines Day. It showcases some of the funniest, smartest and most original comedians from around the country. All tickets are $29.50 - $40.
A Symphonic Valentine Concert - Experience romantic musical favorites like "Liebestod" from Wagner's Tristan and Isolde, Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet, and Ticheli's Wild Nights on Feb 14, when the Grand Rapids Symphonic Band performs. The program will feature trombone soloist Professor Mark Williams of GVSU performing Pryor's Thoughts of Love. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for students.
MacRaven - One Trick Pony hosts a romantic Valentine's Day evening with piano and cello duo, MacRaven. Featuring tunes from their new CD, "The Heart Does Not Forget," award-winning musicians Roger MacNaughton and Steve VanRavenswaay are set to enchant patrons with their unique style of emotive instrumentals. Dining begins at 5 p.m., music at 6 p.m. Reservations are required.

Downtown Carriage Rides - This Valentines Grand Carriages, LLC will be offering special horse-drawn carriage rides in downtown Grand Rapids on Feb. 12-14. Rates are $60/half hour or $90/one hour. Reservations are required and will be taken from 6pm to 11pm.
Patricia's Chocolate Tasting - Sample Patricia Chocolates and pick which ones your sweetheart will like the best on Feb 13. Sampling is from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Art of the Table on Wealthy Street.
Ice Skating at Rosa Parks Circle -Get outdoors and breathe in that romantic winter air as you glide across the ice with your loved one. The rink located at Monroe and Monroe Center will have open skate from noon until 9:30 p.m. Valentine's Day. Admission is $1 and skate rental is free.
