3+ 5 will equal a weekend of heavy rocking at the DeltaPlex the first weekend of November.

That's when one of the hottest new metal bands around and one of the last decade's quintessential alternative rock bands visit the West Side concert venue and exhibition hall.

Three Doors Down will rock the DeltaPlex on Friday Nov. 4, with special guests Theory of a Deadman and West Michigan rockers Pop Evil.  There are a variety of VIP experiences for the show, according to this Facebook page set up to promote the gig.   The Fan Club pre-sale and VIP tickets go on sale Sept. 14 via the 3 Doors Down fan club.

The following night, the DeltaPlex will host Five Finger Death Punch, an LA-based heavy metal outfit that's tearing up the iTunes charts.  The Nov. 5 show includes special guests All That Remains, Hatebreed and Rev Theory.  According to a press release from the promoter, tickets are $25 (advance) and $30 (day of) and will be available at the DeltaPlex Box Office, online at Etix.com or charge by phone at 800-514-3849.

The Los Angeles-based band recently release ‘Under and Over It’ as the first single from their forthcoming album ‘American Capitalist’ which is due for release October 11. The song sold 31,018 units in its first week, putting it atop the iTune Rock Chart and the Amazon.com Hard Rock and Metal Chart.  Under and Over also made the top 40 of the iTunes singles chart -- the only hard rock/metal song in the top 100.
