Bruce Springsteen to visit Michigan with date at Palace of Auburn Hills in April

brucespringsteenBruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s announcement today of another U.S. tour, the first without late saxophonist Clarence Clemons, is just the tip of the iceberg for what promises to be one of the busiest, most-hyped years for high-profile tours in recent memory. The morning Springsteen announcement of North American tour with an April 12 date at the Palace of Auburn Hills (tickets go on sale Jan. 28). The show follows the March 6 release of his new “Wrecking Ball” album, and comes on the heels of other major tours already in the works, according to Local Spins blogger and REVUE columnist John Sinkevics. Springsteen's website offers the following summary: "Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band launch the first US leg of the 2012 'Wrecking Ball' World Tour on March 18 in Atlanta. Bruce Springsteen's 17th studio album 'Wrecking Ball' will be released on Columbia Records on March 6. "We Take Care Of Our Own," the album's first single,' is "classic Springsteen" with "anguish and challenge [that] run thick and fast" (Rolling Stone); a "richly orchestrated Wall of Sound... that nods to the 'Born to Run' era" (Billboard).
