| The LGBT Network of Western Michigan, founded more than 20 years ago, is West Michigan’s premiere LGBT center for the gay community of Western Michigan. The Network is proud and excited to announce its inaugural street fair, The 2010 Network Neighborhood Bash, occurring July 10th in Grand Rapids’ hippest, most ecclectic business district, The Eastown neighborhood. The LGBT Network is home to many groups, programs, community resources, and spaces for members of the community and its allies to meet, network, and grow together in a safe, open-minded, environment. The Neighborhood Bash’s goal, therefore, is to raise funds to continue the quality programming that visitors and regular Network members have come to expect of the center. The day of the Bash promises to be filled with entertainment, speakers, an open house, and much much more and you are warmly-welcome to come showcase your creative talent, business, or organization at the event at a booth for over 8 hours! The event will be family-centered, free of alcohol and tobacco, and open to all members of the West Michigan LGBT community and its allies.
