Returning to Kalamazoo after a triumphant debut with Murder by Death in May, Springfield, Missouri darlings Ha Ha Tonka will headline an affordable evening of true rock and roll on September 23 at the Strutt! Ha Ha Tonka has spent the past few months opening for bands such as Langhorne Slim and Lucero, and their combination of alt-country, roots, and rock and roll sounds are gaining them a fanbase across the country. Supporting this show are Kalamazoo favorites Hello Victor and Jake Simmons (formerly of Dead Scene Radio), and Grand Rapids' Nathan Kalish and the Wildfire. Tickets for this 18+ show are $6 in advance, and doors will open at 7pm.
