A new addition to this year’s Oktoberfest is the Lagerlauf 5k Fun and Walk. Lager means “beer” and Lauf means “run”, hence the name for our first time event that will begin and end at near the Oktoberfest Beer Tent.  The Lagerlauf will be a untimed event beginning at noon on September, 25, 2010 during the Oktoberfest at John Ball Park Zoo.  Fees are as follows:  $15 per person in advance ($20 after 9/12/10) & $30 family of 3 or more  ($40 after 9/12/10)  There will be a special commemorative gift for each participant.
