About Us

Revue is West Michigan’s most comprehensive arts and entertainment source.

Revue is the only free local magazine covering West Michigan people, places and events that’s circulated to 535 distribution sites across the region—including restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, music venues and more. With 37 years in town, our mission is to help build local community and guide readers to the coolest, most important events and experiences across West Michigan.
Between our website, eNewsletter, social media and 15,000 magazines distributed throughout West Michigan, Revue reaches more than 55,000 readers every month.

The History of Revue

Revue was launched in 1988 as the The Music Revue, an alternative, black and white newspaper focused on the local music scene. Over the decades, we’ve transformed into a comprehensive guide to things to do, see, hear and taste in West Michigan. And it’s even printed in color! Since then, we’ve launched Best of the West (a massively popular annual readers’ choice survey), our weekly eNewsletter and Revue Membership, and added consistent arts coverage and critical reviews (the only publication in town to do so) to our content. Today, nearly 40 years later, Revue reaches 55,000+ readers passionate about what’s going on in town.
