The Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer & Food Festival is back for its 18th year! Returning to the DeVos Place Convention Center from November 21-22, this annual event is Michigan's premier tasting destination, perfectly timed for the holiday season.
The festival is a celebration of global and local flavors, offering something for every palate, from the seasoned connoisseur to the curious novice.
Step inside and discover a world-class selection of more than 1,200 wines, beers, ciders, and spirits sourced from across the globe and right here in Michigan. Navigate through dedicated areas like The Vineyard, where you'll find an extensive collection of wines, including the exclusive Elite Collection of hand-selected, top-shelf vintages. Don't miss The Barrel Room at the back for a taste of Michigan's thriving craft spirits scene. Over in Beer City Station, you can explore a diverse array of local, domestic, and international beers and ciders.
Beyond the beverages, the festival emphasizes the culinary arts. Area restaurants and specialty food producers will be all around, serving up an incredible variety of small plates that create a strolling progressive dinner experience. For those who want to deepen their culinary knowledge, the Meijer Food Stage offers live cooking demonstrations by local chefs. You can also deepen your beverage knowledge at a Tasting Session, where the experts guide you through a curated tasting of their favorite beverages. For the ultimate experience, consider booking a seat at one of the exclusive, one-hour pairing dinners offered by 6 different restaurant culinary teams.
Daily admission for the Festival is $25, and tasting tickets can be purchased on-site or in advance for 50 cents each. Tickets for Thursday’s Cheers for Charity VIP Night, benefitting Hospice of Michigan’s We Honor Veterans program, are available for $150. With live musical performances and an electric atmosphere, the Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer & Food Festival is the perfect way to kick off your holiday festivities.
