The National to visit Van Noord Arena on April 12

STS9's Feb. 9 stop in GR cancelled; David Murphy leaves band

Sound Tribe Sector 9, simply known as STS9, will be taking a break from their winter tour, announcing the postponement of their upcoming show dates through February. This includes the band's Feb. 9 stop at The Orbit Room in Grand Rapids. The cancellation stems from the split between bassist David Murphy and the band.

At the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, a British runner with a hamstring injury, collapsed only to be pulled to his feet and helped around the finish line by another man who had jumped onto the track from the stands.
