There’s no better way to shake off the winter winds than to hit up a dance party.
Lucky for us, venues and DJs around Grand Rapids are well aware just how much we need to move right now. There are tons of dance parties being thrown over the next couple months, some of which are returning after selling out the first time.
Aside from the usual clubs that offer dance nights every weekend (Rumors, Grand Woods, Mojo’s, etc.), here’s our lineup of themed and curated parties happening this winter:
JAN 27
GREENHOUSE
Meijer Gardens
6-8 p.m.

GREENHOUSE is a two-hour journey through North American house music, set inside the Garden Pavilion at Frederik Meijer Gardens. Doors open early, but the music starts promptly at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. sharp. This is the first-ever house music event at the Gardens: a guided progression from Chicago’s blueprint to Detroit’s future soul, New York/New Jersey’s garage and vocals, and Miami after-dark heat. All curated by Hipster Disco.

K-Winterland: KPop Club Night

You Had To Be There (aka UH2BT) is a new pop-up dance company producing themed dance nights around the country. This event features hits from your favorite K-pop groups like Twice, Seventeen, Stray Kids, Red Velvet, Katseye, Le Sserafim and more.

Perreo Bowl: Reggaeton, Hip-Hop & EDM
